Co-operative Games

This week Project Energize came to our school to help us learn some co-operative games. We did hopping, skipping, galloping and marching relays, which helped us practise turn-taking as well as movement skills...

Then we learnt some games that helped us practise working together, passing a ball...

and fitting everyone onto an 'island' that kept getting smaller.

This was a perfect time for us to practise teamwork and cooperation, because we are learning to work together as a team in Room 2. We have been talking about the ways that we can help each other, and setting up our class treaty with the ground rules for how we will work together in Room 2 this year.
