Welcome back everyone to a new Term.

It is lovely to hear everyones holiday stories!
We have settled back into the swing of things and into our routines.

A few things we are looking at this term;

Writing our own fairy tales and once-upon-a-time stories,   reading comprehension,  problem solving, volume and measurement,  grouping and patterns,  a trip to the zoo,  earth science and habitats,  learning the weather in te reo,  mapping  and money,  kidpix creations,  planting our Little Garden,  and gymnastics....
whew! what a lot of great learning planned at Hamilton East School. 

Thanks so much for your parent support, especially reading regularly with your child and making sure they remember their bookbag the each day. 

This term we are going into summer so it is important to make sure your child has a school hat to wear.  

SHOE LACES!
Because we need to put our shoes on and off for gymnastics its very important that your child can put on their own shoes.  Please teach your child how to lace their shoes if they have lace-ups.  It can be very time consuming lacing up 10 pairs of shoes each day.
