Welcome to Term 3 and all the fun and exciting things to come. !!!!!!!!!

Welcome especially to our new students from Room 5, its fantastic to have you join us and I look forward to getting to know you.  

Just a quick heads-up....... 

          In maths this term we will be learning about skip counting, teen numbers, time and grouping.  Our writing focus is on instructional writing which includes letter writing, and ‘how to…’  writing.  For reading we continue our reading goals from last term.

          Our topics this term include Firewise for the first three weeks and then learning about our family tree and whakapapa. 

         Our operretta is planned for the end of this term but we are already getting organised and practicing.  

Before our Grandparents day in week four I thought it would be great if we could begin looking at our family tree.  It would be amazing if your child could bring in their family tree (I could photocopy so they are not damaged) and also any funny, famous or significant stories from in your family line.   You can communicate these through your child or speak to me or give me an email.
